Gazipasa airport

TAV Airports Holding submitted the highest bid in the tender for the operation of Antalya Gazipasa Airport through lease for a period of 25 years. TAV Airports Holding is to operate Antalya Gazipasa Airport.
Turkey's leading airport operator TAV Airports Holding has been awarded the contract for the operation of Antalya Gazipasa Airport for a period of 25 years for USD 50 000 rent plus VAT and payment of 65% of the profit to the Government.

Antalya Gazipasa Airport the construction of which was completed in 1999 has a capacity for 500 thousand passengers per year, a terminal building with 2144 square meters area and a car-park with a capacity for 105 vehicles.

Gazipasa is located 180 kilometers from Antalya and only 45 kilometers from the resort town of Alanya. 
At present the area is served by Antalya International Airport.
Although attempts have been made in the past, serious investment is needed to improve the existing airport.
When the airport is modified, it will serve Alanya, Kemer, Side and Manavgat. TAV Airports Holding which operated Istanbul Atatürk Airport, Ankara Esenboga Airport Domestic and International Lines Terminals and Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport International Lines Terminal in Turkey and Tbilisi and Batum International Airports in Georgia, and Enfidha Zine Abidine Ben Ali and Monastir Habib Bourguiba Airports in Tunisia will transfer its knowhow and experience to Gazipasa Airport.
